Woodcutting

Calling all Lumberjacks! Woodcutting is an activity in HighLife where players can use tools to break down trees, collect their logs, and sell them for different prices. Woodcutting is based on different regions throughout the State, each carrying different kinds of trees. Certain trees will sell for more than others.

Cutting

Once you've gathered the necessary tools for the job, you can head over to any woodcutting region and start cutting. Similar to other jobs, each log you collect has a weight and, as we know, there is a limit for your pockets. You may consider bringing a vehicle that can hold a good amount of weight. After you finish your shift, you can head to the Lumberyard to either sell your logs or convert them into planks.

Regions

Throughout the State of San Andreas, tree symbols pop up on your GPS. This signifies a woodcutting region, where people can find the trees they need to cut down. In each region, there is a certain kind of tree that is localized to it. For example, some regions may host the Cedar Tree, while others may carry the Redwood Tree. While you cut down your trees, you may also find a birds nest which could contain very handsome gifts!

Lumberyard

The Lumberyard is where people can sell their tree logs, or convert logs into planks. If you choose to convert your logs into planks by cutting them down more, you can sell them in the city for a higher price. Keep in mind that the sell price for planks changes hourly.
