Cell Phone
The Cell Phone is one of the most useful devices in the city. With it, you can stay updated on the latest debates brewing on LifeInvader, text and call friends, and even play games to pass the time.
Phone Logic
- Press "Y" to pull out your phone and "ESC" to exit.
- Use "Backspace" to exit apps or tap the arrow in the top left corner of the screen.
- Phones can be purchased at Digital Den, Mega Mall, Willie's Supermarket, and SOMETIMES the Pawn Shop.
- You can now take photos with the camera app using "left click" for both front and back cameras. Upload them to LifeInvader by pressing "CTRL + V" and then posting using the send message button.
- LifeInvader cannot be used to advertise the sale of illegal items or share phone numbers.
- Your phone number is in the Settings app.
- Your Account Number in the Fleeca app is needed to receive money.
- You must include the dashes in phone numbers when calling or messaging someone.
Look after your phone, if you take it into the water it could break!
Purchasing a Phone
You've just flown into the city, and a bunch of crooks at the DMV have stolen your phone! Where do you go to buy a new one? Is it lost forever? Don’t worry—you can buy a phone from several locations:
- Digital Den - Found in the mall with a purple signal icon. Open from 8 AM to 6 PM.
- Mega Mall - Located on Carson Avenue and open 24/7—perfect for the sleepless.
- Willie's Supermarket - In Paleto Bay. If you hate socializing, it's also open 24/7.
- Pawn Shop - Located on Clinton Avenue, offering cheap phones in a store open 24/7 (while stocks last!)

Contacts
Keep track of everyone you meet! Adding contacts is easy, and they’re simple to find once added to your list. Access Contacts by tapping the person icon in the bottom left corner.
Phone Call App
Whether you’re calling your mom or your plug, this is the app for you. It shows recent calls and lets you dial up new numbers. Look for the phone icon! Dashes are required when entering phone numbers for them to work.
Messages
Found through the green speech bubble, this app shows all your messages with a red circle indicating missed notifications.
Settings
Customize your phone! Change themes, wallpapers, ringtones, and more. You can also view your phone number here. Look for the grey cogwheel icon in the bottom right corner.
LifeInvader
LifeInvader is the city’s social media platform where you can share your latest happenings and view posts from others. Keep up with real-time updates, like police arrests and the inevitable #FreeMyGuy hashtag. The icon is a white "L" on a red background.
To set a handle, type /sethandle (username) in LifeInvader before you can start chatting!
Fleeca
This is your banking hub—send and receive money, and check your balance here. The icon says FLEECA, just like the bank! You’ll need your account number to receive money.
Lottery
Try your luck with the weekly lotto for $750, purchasable at any 24/7! The app shows the jackpot, previous winners, and draw dates. Look for the icon labelled LOTTO.
Camera
Take pictures and switch to selfie mode by pressing the scroll button. Snap that not-so-pretty face! The icon is a camera.
Notes
Whether it’s for a hitlist or a wish list, keep track of everything here. The icon is a sticky note.
Email
Stay informed with email notifications for bank transactions, property taxes, and more. The icon is an envelope.
Games
Compete in some classics for a high score! Here’s a quick rundown:
- Block Builder: Move pieces strategically. Your game ends if the pieces reach the top.
- Sneke: Don’t hit walls or your tail. The more squares you add to the snake, the higher your score!
- Flappy Plane: Tap to flap your wings and fly higher. Stop tapping and you'll fall.

Find My Car
The app to locate your cars. Check if they’re impounded, at insurance, in a garage, or still out in the city! The icon is a radar with a car.
If the app says your car is in insurance, it might still be in the city somewhere!
Services
Find info about all online services here. The icon is a city of Los Santos badge.
Favourites
This app displays your favourite contacts and essential services, such as emergency lines for the Police and Medics.
Police and Medics can't answer calls unless they’re in a specific dispatch room. Try texting them instead.
Memes
Need a meme break after a long day? Scroll through 9GAG’s frequently updated memes. The icon is a "9" styled like the GameCube intro.
