Street Racing
Street Racing
Interested in testing out your new ride? Enjoy a vanilla GTA racing experience with accurately recreated HUD elements and racing functions! There are random class requirements for each race, including Motorcycles, Non-Supercars, Supercars, off-road, and Bicycles. It also features various race tracks with varying laps/sprints to experience! When racing, police and other citizens outside of the race still have collisions, so be mindful of other players who are not racing. All races are currently non-contact due to FiveM's net code not being great for handling vehicle collisions (desync). Interfering with races with the intent to grief or ruin the experience will be classed as griefing/failRP in most cases. Cops chasing or intercepting street racers are not deemed as interfering. This does not mean GTA Driving/other rules suddenly don't apply.
Racing Hub
The Racing Hub is THE spot for competitive racers. The hub lets players check their Racing Reputation, track progress, and earn exclusive rewards. It also features leaderboards where racers can see how they stack up against the competition. Whether you're grinding for rep or aiming for the top spot, the Racing Hub is where the road to racing glory begins. Located on Popular Street, just north of East Customs, the hub can be found with this icon:
How can I get involved?
- Requires a phone to be notified of events
- Street races automatically create every 40-60 minutes randomly throughout Los Santos
- Pseudo-name racing: Legal character? When competing in races, an alias is required to race
What can I receive?
- A chance of a group reputation drop for anyone that completes the race before the DNF time is up
- Sweepstake (or wagering/betting) is available, the buy-in is randomly selected and will only pay to like-wise wagering players
- Performance in races affects your MMR (Matchmaking Rating). Placing higher (e.g., 1st, 2nd, or 3rd) in larger races will typically increase your rating, while finishing lower may decrease it. Smaller races (like 3-player lobbies) offer limited MMR gains, meaning placing 2nd might not be enough to go up. Your MMR is a reflection of your overall racing skill and is tied to Racing Reputation and ranking progression
Can I create my own races?
- Races can be created in the city via race tokens
- Race tokens have a chance to be obtained by 1st place winners allowing them to start races on their own time!
